Cartographic visualizations are custom depictions of the surrounding geography and can look quite realistic, highly exaggerated, or even surreal. These images were created by draping aerial imagery over digital elevation models (DEM's) and adjusting rotational, bending, elevational, shading, and lighting parameters to reach a desired effect. |
